Just a little secret I learned before going to the beach. To help get all this sand off, use a little bit of baby powder and wipe the sand right off. It really does work!!

Cold water but lots of sunshine to warm us right up.
Even though we applied sunscreen twice, we all ended up sun burnt somewhere. We were a little tender for a few days but we all came home with a little more color. 
After I did some souvenir shopping in downtown Carlsbad I again picked up dinner from another Mexican restaurant that was super yummy! Later we enjoyed the sunset from the same beach we had spent the day at, as Landon got a head start on bed time.
